If you like your apartment blocks #minimalist, you’ll like #Kilpara in #ToorakRoad, cnr Orring, built in 1970, one of the lesser known works of #YunckenFreeman, namely #BarryPatten – who lived in the #penthouse ! Only 28 spacious apartments, a pool, some nice views, nice lobby (looks at least partly new though). And this being #Toorak, often the interiors are filled with antique furniture. (I went to school with Barry Patten’s son and he told me their grand piano had to be hauled up with a crane, and I didn’t believe him, but it was true).
