The fine #Neoclassical 1928 #ESandAbank on the corner of #SwanstonStreet and Little Bourke by #HareAndHare has been a bank again for nearly a year; I was a bit disappointed to see that after I’d helped get it on the #VictorianHeritageRegister in 2015 (only the facade was listed, and renovations were going to destroy the great office entry stairs) and it became a bank again after 14 years as a shop, they restored all the plasterwork (good job @oldmelbourneplaster !) and then stuck in partitions that virtually hides it all ! O well, at least it’s still there. Oh, and now there’s a rooftop restaurant, must check it out !
