I’ve got a thing for this kind of American barn shape; it’s also more or less the ‘Rescode’ envelope, which architects hate but I like – even though it’s at odds with most streetscapes – maybe because it represents #goodneighbourliness ? allowing sun to penetrate next door, which it does in this case, at 90 #GreyStreetStKilda. I also like that it’s #townhouses, not trying to shoehorn in dozens of flats (though the planning doesn’t look very efficient, with two sort of left over areas only good for storage).

Interesting, but do the changes actually dispense with the rescode shape ? Also, the six packs did not usually fit in with the streets of houses, not do most contemporary flats.
