Finally seen the famous #AnatolKagan in #TheodoreCourt #Toorak, an out-there house from 1959 which has fortunately in recent years had two sympathetic owners, bd use it’s not #heritagelisted ☹️yet. What a great spot too, an Ernest Fooks apartment block next door, and a Boyd across the road !
Posted this fab house in Toorak in 2018, and this year was annoyed that it wasn’t included in the (short) list of modernist places in a heritage review – but now I can see why ! It was sold in 2020, looking very intact (pics 4-9), but was sold again in June this year with the photo of the front showing it was partly ruined (presumably rendering). There weren’t any photos of the interior this time, but they did put up images of an approved plan that destroys it even more. Update : it’s been gutted actually, so there’s almost nothing left.
