Just passed by this particularly wonky cottage in Station Street #PortMelbourne, seems it was sold in 2017 for just under a $mill, and it’s a complete wreck inside ! I’d guess it would be quite an effort to even save the front; an interesting case for the heritage advisor if the new owner asked to completely demolish (if it was me I’d probably say yes).




Update 2024: it was demolished mid 2021. @portplaces blog has a photo from the Port Melb Historical Society of ‘Mrs Timms’ on the verandah in 1987, when it already a bit wonky.

Insta commenters noticed the only decor being a boom box and a Mona Lisa print.
