National Bank of Australasia, 1887, by #albertpurchas, in Victoria Street Collingwood. A fine example of restrained #renaissancerevival. Unlike almost everything else in the boom years of the 1880s, many of grand banks were not overly elaborate. So not really my fave style, but they are impressive, and theres a lot of them. Hardly any still banks mind you.
