Cute little Victorian house on Victoria Street in #StKilda, just up from the Esplanade; they really went to town on the #verandah ! Not only does it follow the double #baywindow frontage, but the roof is rather short and steep, so you see a lot of it, normally there be a little more of the eaves showing – I’m told it was added in the last 20 years, which would explain the standard lace and plain framing, and I guess they just made the roof too steep. I still like it though ! Last sold in 2013, rather odd tiny lounge out back.

Update : streetview from 2009 shows it very dilapidated, and with a different verandah, which doesn’t look original either, and has the same steepness as the new one.
