Cute little mid century modern shop/office in Clarendon Street, South Melbourne; a ‘curtain wall’ made out of timber framing, with painted glass panels in a fetching mid blue. Thanks to @davidnhelms for alerting me to more detail, and so found a photo from the early 60s ! Showing it was all glass originally (some later painted blue I guess), had a great tiled ground level, and was perhaps built for Richard Blau. The sign in the window is for European emigre architect Ernest Fooks, and the photo comes from his collection now at the @library_vic, so presumably he designed it. He used timber window walls on some of his houses too.
