Sheer frameless mirror glass was all the rage in the 80s, and this one on the corner of St Kilda Road where Toorak Road becomes Kingsway is the shiniest and sheerest of them all. Reflects its surroundings so much maybe you havnt even noticed it. Derided at the time, Im now a bit impressed by the craziness of the idea. Perhaps won’t survive much longer, in 2018 it was sold for $68mill (!!). The site has a #heightlimit of 85m, that’s about 28 storeys. Last pic is from winter 2018.
