I’m sorry but the #MelbourneUniversity #FacultyOfLaw on #UniversitySquare just looks like an office block. That’s prob because it was built in 2002 as part of a ‘melbourne private’ arm of the university that failed by 2005 (I think – the website says ‘purpose built’ for law) – anyway it was built along with the other two bldgs on the square, all designed by @metier3architects who normally did office blocks. I mean it’s not awful, but nothing about it says ‘prestige university building’. Also, there was a giant substation which was too expensive to move, that’s why most if the front us blank, with the lobby off to one side.
