You peek in the door of a block of 1920s #StKildaFlats, and … a Victorian hallway, complete with the floorboards and doors ! #BiarritzCourt at 360 #BeaconsfieldParade is built around and in an 1870s house, looks like it was typical two storey symmetrical, and then architect #ArchibaldIkin squeezed some long thin flats down one side, and converted the rest, even keeping the elaborate ceiling in what was a grand dining room maybe ? Now flat no 1.
