Del Marie in #StLeonardsAve #StKilda, one of best Art Deco blocks around, partly because it’s so 3D, and sticks up, with that little tower down the side. A bit crowded out by the #damntree (actually a majestic palm). Built 1937, designed by #StuartHall (prob his best, though found hardly any others incl Granada Flats, Orrong Rd). The black box on top used to really bother me, a bit too ‘obviously modern’, but maybe I’m used to it now.
