I hadn’t ever noticed this amazing house on #OrrongRoad even though you can see it perfectly well from the street. Apparently the sides were brick, but rendered at some point. Check out that Niemeyer triangular conc support! It’s by the little known Michael Feldhagen, early 1960s. Brought to my attention via Victorian Modern FB group. Not protected. I’m told it has a sunken conversation pit !
Update 2024 : a heritage review of Toorak and Armadale last year by @extentheritage included a number of Modernist places, including some not all that notable, but not this one !
