Dockland Goods Shed saved – again

Pleased to hear that Heritage Victoria have said no to the further compromise of the beaut and important 1890 Goods Shed in Docklands. It was already chopped into 2 by the Collins Street extension, then 10 years ago they allowed buildings to block views of the two parts from Collins Street – but they’ve not allowed a pair of skyscrapers that would perch either side, up on legs above the shed ends. Urg. They would allow views of the ends, but through glass, youd hardly notice them. HV rejected an earlier 1 tower version in 2015 (2nd last image), so I hope they’ll reject the next one too ! Thanks to @demolished_melbourne for the info and images, and for objecting too !
