Very unusual fence on Orrong Road, Armadale, bluestone with brick edging. Must be 1920s, since the house is 1920s Californian Bungalow, but possibly it was just before WW1. I suppose it’s also possible that the fence reused bluestone from some demolished Victorian thing, but they’re in such a variety of sizes, unlike most actual bluestone buildings. There’s a pair of cottages across the street with the same walls, so presumably all by the same builder. Not heritage listed, but Stonnington has listed an awful lot.
