RMIT workshops, such high ceilings !

#Building2 at #RMITuniversity, opened as huge spacious studios for the School of Applied Art in 1917, has a very decorative #balustrade on the generously proportioned #stair, over three floors and a half-basement, much more decorative than the 1890 studio building next door. Designed by the #PublicWorksDepartment, it’s kind of late Edwardian classical, but with huge #steelframedwindows, and large blank area of #redbrick. Second last pic not mine.
