More shop tops in Bridge Road Richmond

Original post 24 March 2020

Unusually richly elaborated #shoptops in #BridgeRoadRichmond, near Burnley St; same window kefir you detail with lady faces instead if keystones as another shop up on the hill, so same builder or architect. The row was originally red #facebrick but they’ve all been painted differently, the fate of nearly every shop row in melbs , the streets must have looked so different when everything was either grey stucco or brick, though great big painted ads were quite common too, so still a bit of visual mess.

And there’s another example in Lennox near Richmond Terrace (spotted by @cameronrcrawford on my insta)
