Not #facadism, seeing as they kept the whole front section, but shows how you can still make it look terrible – in this case by having it sit in front of a huge wall of new building, like a stubbed toe, made even worse that the streetscape is also a huge wall. Needs some kind of transition or more low scale on the left. This is the #MCGhotel / #ParadeHotel, built in 1863, replacing the earlier hotel where the first rules for #AussieRules were drafted. Update : actually almost facadism, not much kept inside, not walls not even maybe the floor.
