The #NewZealandInsurance Co building in Bourke Street was completed in 1961, and was a rather slick, late example of #glasscurtainwall by #BatesSmartMcCutcheon, who had pioneered them in the mid 50s. Lots of great photos by #wolfgangsievers at the @library_vic, and one later colour one by #peterwille. I think it was demolished in the 80s, with the site vacant for ages until the #RACVClub was built there in 2004.
