A bit dominated but great – Gollin & Co, an office block at the industrial end of #bourkestreet. Built 1904, designed by #CharlesDEbro, who tended towards interesting eclecticism, this ones a bit #Queenanne, a bit #edwardianfreestyle (that #cupola). In 1989 it was incorporated into a larger office thing, designed by #PerrottLyonMathieson when Carey Lyon was principal architect. A bit surrounded, but the tower is well setback, with a matching height and colour lower section, so much better than anything that would happen now. (I’m surprised the 2nd photo from 2015 is so good – that was with my old Sony Experia (!) plus I guess the light was right)
