26 September 2019:
Passing by couldn’t resist, it’s so stylish, especially the strong blue edging, like to think that’s the original colour. I think I’ll probably end up posting just about every building in #StKilda! This ones in #RobeStreet, built in 1936, and designed by Seabrook & Flides, who were early converts to cubic bricky Modernism. It’s a relatively rare type of just one flat above another, must have been a little terrace house or maybe a side garden. Interesting how the front bedroom is setback on the side so the back bedroom gets a little window. The top floor sold this year for $0.8 which is low I reckon, other flats more like a $1mill. #HighRoyds is a town in Yorkshire apparently, and royd is from old Norse for a clearing in a forest.
