So many projecting #semicircular elements, a fave feature of Dorney’s work, sticking out from the flat roofed main rectangular volume, on different levels and wildly cantilevered; the lounge also has huge long windows with only a corner post. The beauty of #reinforcedconcrete. Along with Burnham Beeches also in the Dandemongs, and Carlaminda in Toorak, one of the best Art Deco mansions in Victoria. The biggest lower projecting one is however a matching 80s addition.
