Just discovered that the #ACAbuilding in Queen Street has a twin in on Sydney ! On Market Street. How did I not know that? Though not exactly a twin. Ours was built in 1936, the Sydney one in 1938, both by Sydney architects #HennessyAndHennessy, both pink, vertical, most details the same, but ours more vertical looking cos it’s narrower, and not on a corner (1st and 2nd images). The lobby’s similar, but not as much as the facade. (3rd and 4th images). Where did they get that deep black marble ?

Hi. Very interesting as always. What level is last photo (with the vertical lights) on? I’ve looked at the ACA building but haven’t come across that scene. Cheers, David
