Original post 23 Feb 2021:
A very interesting #housepair on Grey Street- built 1910, designer unknown, and built for Ann Godfrey as an investment. Some Dutch /QueenAnne #steppedgables and some almost #ArtNouveau #wrought-iron (which looks rather Robert Haddon). Unfortunately some poor repointing in one gable, on grey instead of beige ! Not sure who owns, possibly the Salvos, but one houses their St Kilda crisis service.

Update January 2024:
The heritage planner at the city of port phillip tells me that the architects were Sydney Smith & Ogg, which raises the possibility that Robert Haddon was involved – though i think since the details aren’t particularly in his style, except the gables, maybe not, or only a bit.
