The new (ish) #FrankstonStation is pretty groovy; the design by #GentonArchitecture won a competition (the only station to have one), and it was finished mid 2018. The curves are meant to reference sand dunes, but I had to read that to get it. My main gripe is my usual one, the roof is so high you might still get rained on, and you’d have to be on the side away from the sun to not be in it. Also nothing like the actual winning design, which I see had a roof over the tracks as well as the platforms, that would have been better, why didn’t they build it like that ?
