‘Tudor Close’ in Eildon Road #StKilda is described in the #CityOfPortPhillip #heritagestudy as ‘one of the finest and best preserved Tudor style #blockoflats in the city’, but no architect or date ! But they are fine, not only for the earth of detail, #halftimbering and #battlements, but also for their oddly vertical proportions, arranged around a central garden (what a good idea!), so it’s all one beds stacked on top of each other.
Update : it was none other than #BernardEvans, built late 1939. They came furnished and with free hot water.
